Spin, dance, and frolic in this wintery skirt and spark hours of imaginative play. Comfortable and versatile, these silk skirts have been a staple in dress-up boxes for over 25 years. Little ones can wear them as skirts, over a t-shirt as a dress-up top, or as a frilly headdress. Double layered, hand-painted silk is sewn so the hemline hangs in graceful points, perfect for twirling. A stretchy waist ensures a snug and comfortable fit.

Washing the playsilks is easy and makes for a fun activity for kids. Simply hand wash in the sink or a basin with warm water and mild dish soap or laundry detergent. It’s best to wash dark silks separately from light silks. Get them nice and soapy, then rinse until the water runs clear. Hang the wet silk to dry on a clothesline and you may choose to iron on medium to restore the shine once dry. Wet silk looks pretty and feels interesting and most children enjoy the process of washing the playsilks.
